* Nach langer Zeit war ich mal wieder bei Mylys. Dieses Mal nicht zur Knit Night sondern einfach mal zum Klönschnack inklusive "Woll-Bestaunung" mit einer Strickfreundin. Es gibt dort wirklich eine tolle Auswahl an Garnen.
* After a long time, I have been to Mylys again. This time, I have not joined the knit night but met a knitting friend for chitchatting and "wool gazing". They carry a really great yarn selection.
* Weitere Strick-Neuigkeiten bei mir: Ich kann endlich mit 2 Fäden an einer Hand stricken. Ich habe zwar immer mal mit Farben gestrickt, aber ich war nie zufrieden, weil es nicht immer so gleichmäßig wurde, wie ich es gerne gehabt hätte. Ich erhoffe mir ein gleichmäßigeres Strickbild durch das Halten beider Fäden in der linken Hand. Irgendwann möchte ich zum Beispiel mal den Ripple Wrap stricken. Auch schon lange liebäugele ich mit Dunadd. Das Stricken dieses Tuches ist nun fest für die nächsten Monate eingeplant ...
* Further knitting news on my side: I am finally able to knit with two strands which are held in one hand. Now and then, I did some stranded knitting but I have never been satisfied with the consistency of the knitted fabric. I hope to achieve a more consistent knitted fabric by holding the two strands in the left hand. One day, I would like to knit the Ripple Wrap, for example. For quite a while, I have been also toying with the idea of knitting Dunadd. Knitting this wrap is scheduled for the next few months ...
