* Vor einem Jahr Ende Oktober habe ich den Pullover Whiting von Martin Storey angefangen. Gekauft hatte ich mir das Rowan-Heft mit der Anleitung schon im Jahre 2013. Nun ist er endlich fertig geworden.
* One year ago, at the end of October, I started Whiting by Martin Storey. I had already purchased the Rowan magazine with the pattern in 2013. Now I have finally finished the jumper.
* Für diesen Pullover habe ich sehr lange gebraucht. Zum einen ist es ein Muster, das sich nicht mal so eben strickt, dafür ist es aber sehr interessant zu stricken. Zum anderen habe ich neben der Arbeit auch andere Interessen verfolgt. Und das Wetter war in diesem Jahr ja auch extrem gut!
* On the one hand, it is a pattern that you do not knit just on the fly, but it is an interesting knit though. On the other hand I spend a lot of time time on other hobbies as well. And the weather was extremely nice this year, too!
Into the Stream
* Änderungen: Keine Abnahmen für die Taille, Ärmel lang (nicht nur 2/3), Bobbles anders ([1M rechts, 1 Masche rechts durch das hintere Maschenglied] x 2, 1M rechts, dann alle zusammenstricken), Rollkragen kürzer, Rollkragen in der Runde gestrickt nachdem die Schultern zusammen genäht wurden
Nadeln: 1,5mm, 2mm
Wolle: ca. 590g Lang Yarns Yak, Farbe 166 fuchsia
* Modifications: No waist shaping, long sleeves (not only 2/3), bobbles differently ([k1, ktbl] x 2, k1, knit all the newly made stitches together), shorter turtle neck, turtle neck knitted in the round after both shoulders were sewn together
Needles: 1.5mm (US 000), 2mm (US 0)
Yarn: 590g Lang Yarns Yak, colour 166 fuchsia
